Emergence and Rise of Man
Both EMERGENCE AND RISE OF MAN originals are 30×40 oil paintings on Belgian Linen.
The Adam הָאָדָם was formed for a specific purpose. The Adam was to be the extension of the image and
likeness of God [YHWH Elohim] in the physical world. In that capacity, he was declared to be the Son of God [Luke 3:38] Unlike the rest of the physical creation that comes into existence only through the spoken word, The Adam is not only declared [Genesis 1:26,27] but is also formed יצֶר [yatzar] as a physical being and through the kindling or “blowing” action יִּפַּח [yaphach] of YHWH Elohim, he also is established as a spiritual being [Genesis 2:7]. As both a physical and spiritual being, he emerges as a
living soul לְנֶפֶשׁ חַיָּה , able to develop an intimate spiritual relationship with the Creator and through that relationship represent and personify the Creator in the Physical universe. He was the recipient of the Intimate love of the Creator and was to manifest that love in his protection and dominion over both the earth and the expanse of the universe.
The Adam is formed [וַיִּיצֶר=yaphach] not only into a specific physical shape, but “breathed into” יִּפַּח [yaphach] for a specific spiritual purpose. He is formed from the עָפָר מִן־הָאֲדָמָה , the minute particles of the totality of all that had already been created physically. This adamah, הָאֲדָמָה, often translated as ground, is feminine and represents a womb from which the Adam arises from the intimate relationship the Creator had with his physical creation in Genesis 1. In essence, the Adam is the Son of God or offspring of the seed of the masculine YHWH Elohim and the seed of the feminine Adamah which gave birth to him. The Adam is a unique creation of both the masculine and the feminine.
